A PacFed thanks to Teamsters 986 essential employee Norma Alvarado for her work at the front line. A premium billing specialist with seven years of service, Norma interfaces with employer groups for the processing of premium payments and billing adjustments. She also assists with administration activities for the Professional Musicians’ Local 47 and Employers’ Health & Welfare Fund. A native Californian and mother of one daughter, she speaks fluent Spanish, loves to travel, and is an excellent cook and baker!
A huge PacFed thanks to frontline Teamsters 986 employee Jacque Castro, our receptionist who greets each customer and directs incoming callers to the appropriate department. Jacque worked two years as a part-time file clerk before promoting to her current full-time position in 2017. Born and raised in SoCal, she speaks fluent Spanish and also assists with Member Service tasks. Jacque loves nature, dancing and creating art. She has a special interest in gardening and growing her own culinary herbs, and offers services for guided meditations and breathwork.

Martha plays a key role in providing member services to employee groups, such as processing premium payments, billing adjustments and COBRA benefits. Born and raised in SoCal, she is the mother of two children and speaks fluent Spanish. She loves to watch movies, dance, travel and try new cuisine.
Thanks to Teamsters 986 essential employees like Alicia Espericueta, PacFed is here to serve our members’ group health insurance needs! Alicia is a loyal 27-year employee who handles key member services, speaks fluent Spanish and has risen to positions of increased responsibility. When she’s not working at the front line, she enjoys time with her two sons and two grandchildren.
PacFed is grateful for Teamsters 986 essential employee Lleana Guerrero, our vice president of Member Services who has 21 years of loyal service. Lleana has risen to positions of greater responsibility during her tenure at PacFed, advancing from receptionist to a member of our leadership team. Currently responsible for all Member Services representatives, she ensures the smooth operation of her department and that all members’ needs are met. Lleana speaks fluent Spanish and is the mother of two sons and one daughter. Born and raised in Southern California, she loves crafts, cooking and baking!

Karen helps staff our outstanding Member Service call center, where she handles employer and employee requests regarding enrollment. Born and raised in SoCal, she speaks fluent Spanish and is the proud mother of one son. Part of our team since 2012, Karen loves vintage fashion and the Los Angeles Dodgers!

Joanna handles employer and employee requests regarding enrollment at our outstanding Member Service call center. Prior to joining our PacFed team, she served as an enrollment specialist for Covered California. She is a SoCal native who speaks fluent Spanish and has two sons. Joanna loves Latino food, as well as arts and crafts!
PacFed salutes Teamsters 986 essential employee Debbie Mendez, a premium billing specialist who assists employer groups with the processing of premium payments and billing adjustments. Prior to joining PacFed in 2014, she held extensive trust fund experience. Born in Texas and raised in SoCal, Debbie speaks fluent Spanish and has two sons and three grandchildren. When she’s not working at the front line, she loves listening to music!

Rocio handles all day-to-day responsibilities for the Professional Musicians’ Local 47 and the Employers’ Health and Welfare Fund. A SoCal native, she speaks fluent Spanish, enjoys travel, loves spending time with her husband and twin nieces, and is a huge L.A. Dodgers fan!
